The Tangente Sport is a watch that distills all of our favorite things about timepieces from NOMOS into a single design, while reviving some under-appreciated elements from its foundational years. We start with a compact 36.5mm by 7.5mm case in stainless steel that is taken from the discontinued Tangente Sport line (not to be confused with the automatic Tangente Sport Neomatik 42), filling it with a chronometer-certified version of the brand’s manually wound Alpha caliber. As a sportier alternative to the classic Tangente, the watch’s water resistance is tested to 100 meters and the indexes and heat-blued hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova, which glows green in low-light conditions.
This example is in excellent condition with m8 I all signs of wear. It has the silver dial with black hour indices in a mixture of baton and Arabic numerals, and there is a date window at 3 0’clock. The wat ones on it’s original dark brown shell cordovan leather strap with signed steel buckle, and is supplied with it’s original wooden box and Nomos Warranty booklet stamped and dated August 2007.
