Tank Must De Cartier Blue

Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was presented as a gift to General Pershing some years before the watch was introduced into the market in 1919. The lugs blend seamlessly into the bare edges of the flat vertical brancards, giving the watch its unique aesthetic. The clean, crisp lines have proved hugely popular with a free-spirited, elegant clientèle. The now-iconic Tank watch has inspired countless variations, yet managed to preserve its distinctive identity.
Tank Must watch, large model, quartz movement. Steel case, beaded crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, blue lacquered dial, polished steel sword-shaped hands, blue alligator-skin strap, steel ardillon buckle. Case dimensions: 33.7 mm x 25.5 mm, thickness: 6.6 mm. Water-resistant to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).
This example is in immaculate condition showing minimal signs of wear to the watch or original leather strap. The watch comes with original boxes and papers, including the Plastic Warranty Card Dated November 2021. The watch is therefore under full manufacturers warranty for another 12 months.
