The Case: The 43mm case on the Seiko 5 Sports SRPE72K1 model is made from stainless steel with a PVD rose gold coating, which offers the wearer unparalleled levels of anti-corrosiveness, as well as ensuring greater shine longevity. Hardlex glass has also been used in order to provide further protection. There is also a non-screw down crown present besides the 4 o'clock marker, the crown guard has a brushed finish, which creates a subtle, yet satisfying, contrast between it and the rest of the polished case. On top of the case is a unidirectional rotating bezel which can be used to time a run in the park, bringing out the sports side of this watch. The indexes on the bezel have a street style font on top of a rough surface, almost like sprayed graffiti on a wall. The case back is transparent, which allows the wearer to view the inner mechanisms of the timepiece. The Bracelet: The rose gold bracelet of the watch is made from highly durable stainless steel, that has been finished using a brushing technique. This creates a subtle, but welcomed, contrast between the polishing of the case and the brushing of the bracelet. It comes in the style of an oyster bracelet. It fastens using a three fold clasp. The Dial: The rose gold dial really catches the eye thanks to its sun-brushed design, which glistens when it catches the sun. It is beautifully complemented by white indexes and hands which are coated in a luminous material, allowing for easy visibility at night. They both have a classy rose gold outline which allows them to pop out and be noticed. Positioned just below the 12 o'clock index is the ever present Seiko logo alongside a day and date window at 3 o'clock. Moreover, around the edge of the dial are small second markers placed on the chapter ring.
